Rob Rees MBE is a leading British Chef, the current chairman of The Schools Food Trust. He is also known as ‘The Cotswold Chef’ as he champions locally sourced produce at his headquarters in Cirencester where he has a renowned Cookery School and Food Centre. He has a passion for trying to inspire and include everyone in the revolution in British food and farming. At The Food Centre alongside his inspirational cookery courses Rob also introduces private and corporate clients to the diversity and excellence of local produce.
As well as this very British based activity he also creates exquisite food for prestigious clients in embassies and palaces around and on every continent and continues to inspire those closer to home. Awarded an MBE for his tireless work promoting British cuisine abroad, he continued this work in 2011 visiting Bangalore in May for “Visit Britain” where he will be demonstrating the quality of British produce and the excellence of our cuisine.
A natural public speaker he is an extremely engaging communicator and facilitator. The tireless passion that he feels about his subject is inspirational, his enthusiasm is contagious – whether it’s a product launch, a food safety issue or a full blown bacchanalian feast it couldn’t be in better hands.
