Tom was first spotted for his presenting capabilities at the Travel Channel.  Producers at Thomson TV asked Tom to present sales pieces on this well known travel programme.  Completely unfazed by presenting alongside more experienced presenters and in studio, Tom’s presence didn’t go unnoticed and after this encouraging start he was advised to make a Television Presenter Showreel. 

Previously in his career Tom has worked as a Television Researcher.  After proposing some interesting ideas for television programmes to an executive producer, Tom was offered a job as a researcher on the social history documentary called THOSE WERE THE DAYS, which was aired on ITV.  This research was highly intellectual and challenging as he had to delve into the archives of the National Newspaper Library as well as tracing people from many years ago and overseas to bring to life stories which have been forgotten.  It focused on significant dates in modern history and Tom was able to draw upon his own resources after studying Politics at the University of Sussex.   He successfully interviewed his contributors on camera and proved himself to be an effective member of the production team.  To build on his experience Tom has also taken courses in Final Cut Pro. 

Tom is very passionate and knowledgeable about travel and has worked in both the travel and overseas property industries at home and abroad.  Whilst at school Tom could be found in his school holidays working in the offices of a major travel company.   He has travelled to all four corners of the globe and even taken adventurous journeys such as the Tran Siberian Express. 

Game for almost anything! Tom is a health and fitness fan and a regular gym goer. He follows sports closely and enjoys playing them too whether or not for his football team or simply swimming or skiing when possible.  Tom can turn his hand to most sports and is willing to try anything new and he has recently had flying lessons.  He is very interested about the entertainment industry and has a passion for drama and films.  He has undertaken acting training at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has also worked as a model.  He is very passionate about food and drink and is a trained cocktail bartender having worked at one of London’s best cocktail bars The Lonsdale. 

Tom is full of enthusiasm, cheeky charm and quick wit.  He would be ideal for any entertainment, sport, food, travel and even children’s television and would be an asset to any production.
