Philippa Forrester

Philippa is probably best know as a TV and radio presenter but what  may well not be so well known about this busy and versatile lady is that she has degrees in both English and a First Class Honours degree in Ecology and Conservation. She is a keen conservationist so it is hardly surprising that 2008 has seen her presenting a weekly ‘live’ radio programme on behalf of the Natural History unit called ‘World on the Move’ which has been following the world migrations of such animals Monarch and Painted Lady Butterflies, Grey and Humpback Whales, Ospreys, Toads, Top Geese, Grave yard Bats, Salmon, Eels and Jellyfish - etc. This has been the largest Natural History event commissioned on BBC Radio 4.  Philippa is also a published author and travel writer a keen gardener and cook. This busy Mother of three young boys does not allow the grass to grow under her feet. She also helps her husband wildlife cameraman Charlie Hamilton-James to run their production company which specialises in making wildlife programming for the BBC.  Philippa is also beginning to make quite a name for herself on the ‘speaking circuit’ and has an impressive list of Corporate clients.
