A world renowned Fashion expert, Alex was recently featured as the stylist in Colleen’s Real Women on ITV. The Stylist, Journalist and Fashion Producer has appeared on ‘Britains Next Top Model’ – Living and a fly on the wall documentary, Vinnie – BBC 3.

Alex Longmore started her career in fashion over ten years ago after finishing a BA Honors degree in Art History when she moved to London and filled a life long ambition of becoming a leading fashion stylist. In the early years she worked at Company Magazine and Tatler before moving on to take the position of Fashion Assistant to the Daily Mail where she quickly moved up the ranks and became Style Editor.

She worked in the Female department for four years. Her demanding role on the fashion desk included writing features, styling celebrities and dictating future fashion trends. In 2003, Alex embarked on a freelance career. This year also saw her become Executive Fashion editor of Shoo magazine. Her innovative ideas and creativity produced a publication that took accessories into a new fashion arena.

Since embarking on a freelance career her work has become diverse with an abundant list of Advertising and Editorial clients. Alex has styled many celebrities both in the UK and abroad for editorial, T.V and film work and for red carpet events Alex dresses some of the hottest UK Stars and Hollywood A Listers, her clients include: Jerry Hall, Twiggy, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Zara Philips, Emma Bunton, Joan Collins, Vinnie Jones, Claudia Schiffer and Jodie Kidd to name but a few.

Her experienced career has also helped her become spokesperson for Philips and L’Oreal. Youthful and easy to work with, Alex combines a passion for fashion and unlimited enthusiasm with grounded common sense and professional clear sightedness. This makes her a favourite stylist with clients, celebrities and photographers alike.

Alex is a regular Public and after Dinner Speaker bringing the fashion industry alive with her witty, informative and gripping speeches. She is definitely a girl going places and would happily become more involved in the television fashion industry.
